I wanted to begin with an interesting story of how it all began, but, lol, nothing is more interesting than food. So, let’s go gaga over food first, don’t miss the story later towards the end.
As I entered, I was wildly smitten by what you see in the pic below. Yes, a wood-fired oven, yes, it’s out there behind a glass window open for enthusiasts like me to watch and glee.
What majestically appealed was the rustic, countryside look that also translated to a contemporary, modern ambience. There was something about it that was truly ‘beyond elements’, which transported me to a whole new world – a world of life and celebration!
The lively, celebratory music catered to my ears, the aroma of the Continental and Indian delicacies cooking inside the kitchen somehow made way to tease and further carry me deeper into the experience.
I couldn’t wait to dig into the menu card (a pure vegetarian only delight), and there were many new innovations therein, I must say. I won’t reveal much though, but do not miss their innovative Mushroom Twin Punch Starter, Palak Halwa, the – (you can’t guess how awesome it tastes) – Corn Methi Malai Seekh Kabab, to name a few. Rest is a mystery for you to discover…
Now coming to the classics, they are no less than the innovations.
And, my BIGGEST KUDOS to them because every pizza tastes different – and this is a rare case, if you know what I mean – this is coming from me – someone who has tried so many pizza joints all over.
What struck me most was the freshness of the organic ingredients. And, why not? The team spent months surveying the best places to source organic high-quality ingredients from, and it shows in the looks and taste of it.
Let me share 1 thing about myself – I hate scantily topped Pizzas. This is a ‘zamana’ of scanty clothes, not scanty pizza toppings for God’s sake. 😛
Thank heavens! These pizzas were full of healthy toppings.
Well, moving on from the Pizza hangover to this rich looking, and perfectly balanced white sauce pasta, with sun-dried tomatoes, olives, zucchini, broccoli – you name it, they have it.
If all the cheese makes you feel guilty, then you can choose from some healthy options as well. Stir Fried Vegetables being the evergreen choice of the fitness freaks.
Or the humble but – (not to be underestimated) – Continental Salad.
Well, I believe that starters are a healthy option too. I could have all my meals full of starters, given a chance. That’s why I kept the best for the last.
The famous classic delicious Indian – Paneer Starters – they have an array of those.
The inviting green chutney on the side is ‘beyond comments’.
But, the King of it all is this huge, aptly named – Beyond Special Platter of Assorted Tandoori Starters. Truly beyond special and truly assorted with the best gems!
And, every great blog, oops every great RESTRO has a story –
So, it all started with a group of working professionals & qualified meditation teachers, feeding delicious food to friends every week at home after group meditations. And, when the taste was so overwhelming or rather overpowering over all other senses, such that once a week was no longer enough, then the idea and vision of actually turning to this passion of cooking as a full-time activity took sprout.
Further, this passion for food, combined with a drive for health, a conscience of ethics – these ingredients synergistically combined together to make ‘Beyond Elements’ what it is today – one of the best, MUST-GO-TO- hangout places of Whitefield, Bangalore – even Zomato agrees.
There’s a secret in the name ‘Beyond Elements’
As anything else in this world, food is also made of five elements – air, water, fire, earth, and ether. But here one can taste something beyond these five elements and that is love.
And finally a view beyond the 4 walls of ‘Beyond Elements’.
Way to Go ‘Beyond Elements’ and it’s actually the way to reach there too. 😛
Oh Yes! I almost forgot – Cheers with this Sheryl Temple Mocktail
